Having grown up with Bands like Machine Head, Alice in Chains, Sepultura, Pantera and Disturbed, DROWN INC used the Metal and Hardcore genres as a bold outline for their own creation, focusing on raw sounds and forceful rhythms that are embedded by a unique voice.
This powerful blend of music was appreciated so much, that the label TTS Media Music signed DROWN INC at the end of 2002.
DROWN INC. formierte sich zur aktuellen Besetzung Mitte 2002, als sich Lars „Ben“ Bendfeldt (git.) und Patrick Blättermann (voc.) den beiden Gründungsmitgliedern Thomas Presch (bass) und Michael Rutta (dr.) anschlossen und so ein enormes Kreativpotential freigesetzt wurde, das sich Anfang 2004 auf ihrem Debütalbum „Momentum“ entladen wird.
The current members of DROWN INC formed in 2002 as a result of Lars „Ben“ Bendfeldt (guit.) and Patrick Blättermann (voc.) joining the original members Thomas Presch (bass) and Michael Rutta (dr.), creating an enormous drive, that resulted in a debut Album “Momentum” that is to be released in early 2004.
Schon im Vorfeld konnte die Kernformation zahlreiche Erfolge mit Supportgigs für Godsmack, Subway to Sally, In Extremo, Pyogenesis und anderen verbuchen. Als Gewinner bei Contests auf Hardsampler.de oder Internet-Metal.de machte man ebenso auf sich aufmerksam, wie durch unzählige Downloads auf den bekanntesten Music-Sites des Internets.

DROWN INC are also the proud winners of Contests, including “Hardsampler.de” and “Internet Metal.de”, not forgetting the Feedback they received through countless Downloads from the most common Music Internet sites.

2003 war geprägt vom kreativen Prozess des Songwritings, der Albumvorbereitung und schließlich den Aufnahmen zum ersten Longplayer „Momentum“. Mit Veröffentlichung des Albums Anfang 2004 wird DROWN INC. wieder intensiv durch Deutschland und die Nachbarländer touren.
The year 2003 was a creative process of Song writing, preparations for the new Album, and finally the recording of their first long player “Momentum”. Following the release of the Album in early 2004, DROWN INC will proceed to Tour Germany and its neighbouring Countries intensively.
